Terms of use
These Terms govern the use of the Miaventi website and platform. Paid use is subject to the order form or agreement entered into with Miaventi, which prevails in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
1. Parties to these Terms
These Terms are entered into between Miaventi ("Miaventi") and any person who visits the website at miaventi.com or uses the Miaventi platform (the "User"). A User who uses Miaventi on behalf of an organization represents and warrants that they are authorized to bind that organization.
Paid plans are governed by an order form or master agreement, which prevails in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
2. The service
Miaventi is a platform for the planning, running and measuring of events, comprising registration, ticketing, invitations, check-in, engagement tools, virtual events, exhibitor management and reporting functions. The modules available to the User depend on the selected plan. Miaventi may improve, modify or discontinue features; reasonable prior notice will be given of changes that materially reduce paid functionality.
3. Accounts and security
The User shall keep their credentials confidential and shall notify Miaventi without delay of any unauthorized use. The User is responsible for all activity under the account, for the users they invite and for the permissions granted to them.
4. Organizer responsibilities
Event organizers are responsible for the content, pages and communications they publish; for ensuring a lawful basis and providing the required notices and obtaining the required consents from attendees (including under KVKK and the GDPR); for the accuracy of prices, taxes and invoices; and for the events themselves. Miaventi processes attendee data on the organizer's behalf pursuant to the Data Processing Agreement; the retention period of attendee data is determined by the organizer, who may delete an event at any time, whereupon the event data and files are removed in full. Before deleting an event, the organizer shall export any records it is required by law to retain, such as financial records.
5. Acceptable use
The User shall not:
- violate applicable law or infringe the rights of third parties, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- upload malware, scrape the service, probe or circumvent security measures, or overload the service;
- send spam or unsolicited messages through the platform;
- access the data of another organizer or impersonate another person;
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive events.
Miaventi may suspend access that places the service or other customers at risk and, where practicable, will inform the User of the reasons for suspension.
6. Payments
Where organizers sell tickets, payments are processed by third-party payment service providers on the organizer's account; Miaventi is not a bank or payment institution and does not hold funds. Fees, taxes and payment terms for Miaventi plans are set out in the order form.
7. Intellectual property
All rights in the platform, brand and documentation belong to Miaventi and its licensors. Miaventi grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of the plan. The User retains ownership of its content and data and grants Miaventi the licence necessary to host and process them for the purpose of providing the service. Feedback provided by the User may be used by Miaventi without restriction or payment.
8. Availability and support
Miaventi uses reasonable efforts to keep the service available; however, the service is provided within the scope described in the applicable plan, and maintenance, third-party outages or events beyond Miaventi's control may cause interruptions. Support channels and hours depend on the plan.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided "as is", and Miaventi shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.
10. Term and termination
The User may cease using the service at any time. Miaventi may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment or legal reasons. Upon termination, the User may export its data for 30 days, following which the data will be deleted within a further 30 days as set out in the Data Processing Agreement. The User is responsible for exporting in advance any records it is required by law to retain, such as financial records.
11. Amendments, governing law and contact
Miaventi may update these Terms; the current version is published together with its date, and material changes are notified to customers. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer and data protection rules.
